The UK's captivating history, diverse cities, and regions are surpassed only by its people's obsession with a game they invented in the mid-19th century: Football. Today, a century and a half later, it is football (soccer) that brings about sentiments of national pride and tradition to the politically aligned yet fiercely independent nations of England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Established cultural icons like:

  • London
  • Edinburgh
  • Manchester
  • York
  • Liverpool
  • Belfast
