For many Americans with Irish ancestry, a trip to Ireland is like a trip to the homeland. For others, visiting the dynamic sites of Ireland and learning about the dramatic history and rich culture of the island peaks their interests. Among Ireland’s lush, green hills are ancient castles, hearty meals, and friendly locals. Ireland has a memorable variety of castles because of the country's history with England. When England came to forcibly settle Ireland, they built castles to protect the British citizens from Irish natives. As a result, many of the castles in Ireland were built by England. In retaliation, the Irishmen constructed their own castles to better fight against the British invaders.
An adventure of Dublin and its surrounding area will bring you closer to fascinating Irish history and famous sites such as St. Patrick’s Cathedral, the Cliffs of Moher, the Belfast Castle, and the Blarney Stone at Blarney Castle. Experience the haunting, beautiful landscapes and the inspiring history of Ireland while participating in the Irish passion for soccer. With plenty of local competition, we will be able to find the best, most comparable, teams to play against yours in friendly matches while showing you the best that Ireland has to offer.
